Paul over at SaveHilliardSchools is having levy remorse. Seems ol' Paul had a tough time converting millage into dollars and is now upset with his new tax bill. If Paul -- the useful idiot of the Hilliard School District -- is upset with his new tax bill, can you even begin to imagine the feelings of those whose no votes were undone by Paul's loud yes vote and active support?
Of course, Paul is simply playing the field as he spins from pro-levy to anti-levy with the prevailing winds. Sadly, he has become irrelevant in the Hillard tax debate. He may talk tough now, but the school board, administration and levy supporter know that Paul has a very squishy backbone -- he may not even be a vertebrate.
note: To think, while Paul moans, there are folks in the Hilliard district who will lose their homes next year, all because of the levy Paul supported. Amazing!

Does Lambert understand just how stupid he looks?
As "The Smartest Guy In The World" he couldn't calculate the incremental tax liability that the levy would have on his household?
Is he for real, or is this political hedging in the form of a new found populism as he anticipates a community backlash?
Whatever the reason or motive, Paul Lambert is exactly the kind of person one DOES NOT want on a school board. He either does not grasp the issues that he advocates so eloquently and, thus, so convincingly or he does not really possess the convictions of the positions that he advocates so eloquently and, thus, so convincingly.
I'd rather have a board member who is uninformed but has firm beliefs than someone who understands the issues but changes his position when it becomes inconvenient or uncomfortable. One can forgive the former for taking a wrong vote but the latter has no excuse.
Don't give Paul Lambert that chance.
Went there and read it. Paul's left brain doesn't know what his right brain is doing. Or is it the other way around? Paul, thoughtful politico that he is, admits to voting for taxes and levies without really knowing or thinking about the results. Sounds so typical. Emotions just seem to get in the way of reason for Paul and friends.
Paul is flipping again. Having flopped earlier. But he's explaining it all so never fear.
If P.L.'s house is the one on Roberts Road, that he paid less than 200K for and is now valued at more than 354K, and he's paying over 8K a year in taxes, soon to be 9 I guess - well, what a racket. But maybe I've got the wrong place.
