So is McCain. Of course, Obama is communist. It's all about state control or ownership of the means of production.
Bush's Democratic Capitalism is just another name for Fascism. We have state control of the economy, a glorified state, misplaced nationalism, and our own Il Duce (Bush). We are Italy of the 1920's.

When the government took over our light bulbs and the people went along with it, they concluded they could take over everything else.
Thanks for clearing everything up. And your proposed solution??

Let the market work itself out.
Sorry that you only believe in the elected official, which, by the way, I was one once. So, in essense, you believe in me.
Now you're stuck in a circular rut.
The market will work it out if given the opportunity. That will be very ugly in the short term, but maybe that's a price that needs to be paid for the excesses that the market permitted over the past few years. If government could soften the blow, that would be great. Unfortunately, the market excesses will be replaced by government excess if they step in.
Bad decisions deserve bad consequences.
If everyone acted responsibily, made sound fiscal decisions, didn't try to keep up with the Jones', and lived within their budgets, then we wouldn't be in this situation.
Let the market sort it out and let those of us who are responsible benefit from it. Let those of us who aren't, suffer and learn the hard way.
For those in the middle, soften the blow, but the government needs to stay out of it. Injecting money is one thing, getting actively involved while injecting money is a whole different tax burden and imposition on market forces.
