Paul, Paul, Paul

Paul Lambert of the Hilliard School Board wrote this comment on my prior post:
You're ducking the question. Do you believe the flawed resolution would not have otherwise been addressed?

Do you think it is better to keep the levy off the ballot because of a technicality rather than allow your community to have the debate?

Do you have so little faith in the people of your community that you believe they will make the wrong decision if this levy is put up for a vote?

Paul forgets that the representatives of the community voted on the issue -- the vote was 3-2 for the levy. That a 3-2 vote is not sufficient to pass an permanent operating levy in not a "technicality." It is state law.

Is Paul really stating that the two Olentangy board members only voted against the levy because they believed the issue would pass over their "no" votes?

What does that say about integrity on school boards?

Seems Paul sees little integrity on the Olentangy board. Is Hilliard any different? One wonders.

Lamebert #1: "You're ducking the question. Do you believe the flawed resolution would not have otherwise been addressed?"

Uh--yeah? Look at the morons we have on the board. King doesn't know where the bathrooms are yet and the record is well documented with Feasel's persistent lack of parliamentary grasp. I would expect to find a game of Twister in her bag before Roberts Rules of Order or ORC.

Shamebert #2: "Do you think it is better to keep the levy off the ballot because of a technicality rather than allow your community to have the debate?"

Uh...yeah? Tell you what, Paulie: show for me a time when the board had a "debate" with the community about anything and I'll have a debate with you on this. Feasel and King refused to debate with the other candidates during their campaign, and YOU are throwing this garbage up? You're ignorant and not doing our community any favors.

The members of the OLSD school board long ago drew battle lines on these issue, hiring political consultants to inflict "pain" (his words) on communities who dare question supporting levies.

You know the history of our board and misconduct and counter transparency and frivolous spending. And you're trying to frame the debate about the reasonableness of the community to have a rational debate? Answer that one, bro.

Flamebert #3: "Do you have so little faith in the people of your community that you believe they will make the wrong decision if this levy is put up for a vote?"

You don't even believe this question. This is just your posturing. It's a contrived line that you probably have in some PowerPoint of your marketing plan.

Here are some follow-up questions for Paul Shamebert:

Response to your #1: Knowing what you already know about the Olentangy School Board, would you expect the board to come clean with the public and correct the flaw down the road had they internally (read: "privately discussed amongst each other") realized what they did? The board, as you know, is guilty of far worse treachery, yet you are willing to credit them with a morality that they have shown time and again to not possess.

#2: The board had the chance to delay the onset of the last levy, which they conceded three weeks after its passage that it wasn't needed after all. No harm/ no foul. Not bothering to look at the most current revenue data was just a technical oversight in . Oops.

They also have viewed Ohio Sunshine Laws and board policies as "technicalities".

If well into the levy campaign this oversight was discovered they'd be the first to claim, "Oh, that's just a silly, insignificant technicality" and then pay the district's attorney and Avakian to spin it. You have no shame, Paulie. You are an absolute hypocrit.

Paul just showed his true colors. He enjoys his game-playing. He enjoys his attempts at sounding oh-so-reasonable. But then...the real Paul is exposed. He loves Big Brother.

The Many Faces of Paul. He's a slippery, treacherous so-and-so. A perfect sort to sit on a government school board.

He's a wanna be Dimon McPherson.

Thanks for screwing us Paul. But hey, you got your name in the dispatch as being smarter than the OLSD BOE. Pat yourself on the back for stepping over that 1" hurdle.

YOU THE MAN PAUL! LOL!
